Kempt Quarry Recreation Site - (26 min)

The water is clear and clean, and swimming is fun with rocky ledges to leap off as well as a shallow pool for the little ones. Pack a lunch to enjoy at one of the picnic tables. Dawson Brook Waterfall - (10 min)

Experience this 1.4-km out-and-back trail right here in Ellershouse. An easy route, it takes an average of 25 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking. Visit > 

 

Irishman's Road Recreation Site - (10 min)

Experience this 3.1-km loop trail near Newport Station, Nova Scotia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 47 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and walking.

Bramber Flower Pot Rock - (31 min)

Enjoy this 2.6-km out-and-back trail near Cheverie, Nova Scotia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 31 min to complete. This trail is great for birding and walking. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas. Visit >

 

Kingsport Beach - (48 min)

Red sedimentary cliffs carved by continuous erosion rise from the beaches to the east. The dramatic 12-metre tides produce very large sand and mud flats at low tide. Visit >

Burntcoat Head Park - (50 min)
